What we do
XanTec bioanalytics is centred round two main product groups: SPR biosensors and nanometer biocoatings which are used to modify the biophysical properties of plastic, glass and metal surfaces.
We provide innovative biochip-based solutions to accelerate and optimize biomolecular interaction research, protein profiling and protein assaying.
Our focus lies largely in developing substrate chemistries used on surface plasmon resonance (SPR) biosensor chips as well as slide-based microarray formats. Here, our involvement ranges from development, production, and world-wide marketing activities to exploring new applications. Additionally we offer support services for end-users to get started, develop and optimize assays; we also assist local distributors and provide application advice.
For individualized needs, we produce and synthesize tailor-made, ready-to-use sensor surfaces and bioconjugates. Offering the largest sensor surface suite in the marketplace, we provide our customers with surfaces for virtually every application.
Complementary analytical services services offered by XanTec bioanalytics include assay development and contract biomolecular interaction analysis (BIA) as for example the determination of Kon / Koff rates.
For biomedical applications, a range of biomolecular nanocoatings is offered, either geared to make plastic, glass and metal surfaces bioinert or to trigger biological responses at the molecular level.
